Kirsten Fjellman was raised in Yardley, Pennsylvania, she pursued her passion for art at the University of the Arts, earning a BFA with a major in painting and minor in Art Therapy.

Landscapes have been her inspiration and the foundation of her painting journey. She utilizes nature as a channel for expression and a method of communication. She draws from a variety of sources, which include photographs, nature, personal experiences, and the art of others. Her work endeavors to represent the space between nature, reality, and imagination, creating a bridge that invites viewers to reflect. ​She embraces the ever-changing nature of her work, mirroring the changes in her life.

As an artist, Kirsten's goal is to continue this journey of learning and growth, both personally and through the influence of fellow artists. Outside of her studio, she resides in Yardley with her husband, two children, and new puppy, who inspire her daily.
